In this relaxed and inspiring taster session, you’ll learn how to transform soft, mouldable silver clay into a beautiful piece of jewellery that’s entirely your own. From the moment you start shaping your design to the final polish, you’ll be guided step by step through the process—no experience needed.
Over 3–4 enjoyable hours, you’ll have the time and space to experiment, refine your ideas, and watch your creation come to life. You’ll roll, texture, cut, and shape your design using a wide selection of stamps, cutters, moulds, and texture mats—making every piece truly unique.
Working in a small, friendly group, you’ll receive plenty of personal guidance and tips, including how to handle the clay, fire your piece, and finish it to a professional standard. As your creation emerges from the kiln, it transforms into stunning 999 fine silver—ready to be polished, assembled, and worn home with pride.
All tools, materials, and refreshments are included—just bring your creativity and enjoy a memorable, hands-on experience you’ll treasure long after the session ends.
Classes will take place at our new dedicated jewellery studio located in the heart of St Albans city centre.
This is a lovely light, airy space with excellent facilities and parking in the city centre car parks only a few minutes walk away.
Please note the studio is on the 2nd floor, unfortunately there is no lift.
Included within the price:
7g of silver clay - this is enough to make a large pendant, medium sized pair of earrings, or small selection of charms
Jump rings, ear wires, or a sterling silver chain for your piece
