In this relaxed and inspiring taster session, you’ll learn how to transform soft, mouldable silver clay into a beautiful piece of jewellery that’s entirely your own. From the moment you start shaping your design to the final polish, you’ll be guided step by step through the process—no experience needed.
Over 3–4 enjoyable hours, you’ll have the time and space to experiment, refine your ideas, and watch your creation come to life. You’ll roll, texture, cut, and shape your design using a wide selection of stamps, cutters, moulds, and texture mats—making every piece truly unique.
Working in a small, friendly group, you’ll receive plenty of personal guidance and tips, including how to handle the clay, fire your piece, and finish it to a professional standard. As your creation emerges from the kiln, it transforms into stunning 999 fine silver—ready to be polished, assembled, and worn home with pride.
All tools, materials, and refreshments are included—just bring your creativity and enjoy a memorable, hands-on experience you’ll treasure long after the session ends.
Classes at Highfield Park Visitor Centre run from 10am - 2pm for AM sessions, and 1pm - 5pm for PM sessions
This is a lovely light, airy space with excellent facilities and free parking. Located to the south east side of St Albans with easy access to the A414, A1, M25, and M1. Set in beautiful park surroundings, with dedicated outside space should we be lucky with the weather.
